Job summary

Rotating Offshore Solutions Pte Ltd in Singapore seeks a civil/structural engineer to perform global analyses of offshore structures, design primary/secondary steel, and prepare design reports. You will coordinate with clients and suppliers and support execution teams.

The role requires 4–10 years in offshore structures, strong proficiency in SACS and STAAD PRO, and knowledge of ISO 19901-3, 19902, AISC-360, API and DNV codes. Mentoring junior engineers is a plus.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering.
• 4–10 years of offshore experience desired.
• Proficient in SACS and STAAD PRO.
• Knowledge of ISO 19901-3, ISO 19902, AISC-360 and API/DNV codes.

Responsibilities

• Perform global analyses of offshore structures and detailed design of primary, secondary and tertiary steel elements.
• Design technically sound and cost-effective offshore/onshore oil & gas solutions.
• Prepare spreader bar, sling and shackles calculations.
• Prepare Weight control and C.O.G reports.
• Coordinate work with interdisciplinary teams, clients and suppliers.
• Support project and production teams in technical matters during execution.
• Train and mentor fresh and junior engineers.

Job description

1.Responsible for performing global analyses of offshore structures, carrying out detailed design of primary nodes, detailed design of secondary and tertiary steel including equipment supports, access platforms, material handling structures, monorails, stair towers, etc. and compiling design reports

2.Perform structural engineering to design technically sound and cost-effective solutions for offshore and onshore oil & gas applications.

3.Preparation of Spreader bar, sling and shackles calculation.

4.Preparation of Weight control report and C.O.G report.

5.Coordinates work with inter-disciplines, client and supplier

6.Support project and production teams in technical matters during execution phase

7.Train & Mentor fresh engineers and junior engineers.

Job Requirements:

8.Degree in Civil / Structural Engineering

9.Minimum 4 to 10 years of experience with good proficiency in SACS and STAAD PRO Software

10.Experience in design of FPSO modules, Structural Skid and fixed offshore structures

11.Must have good knowledge of offshore analysis software SACS and STAAD PRO

12.Must have good knowledge of latest revisions of offshore design codes such as ISO 19901-3, ISO 19902, AISC-360 and applicable API and DNV codes
