Job summary

Surbana Jurong in Singapore is seeking a Civil/Structural Engineer to model, analyze, and finalize structural designs using engineering software. You will review drawings, specifications, and risk assessments and coordinate with clients, architects, construction teams, and M&E designers to resolve discrepancies.

The role requires a relevant degree with at least 2 years of experience and exposure to geotechnical, concrete, and steel structures. PE certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil and Structural Engineering or its equivalent.
• PE certification preferred or degree recognized by the Professional Engineers Board of Singapore for Associate level.
• Minimum 2 years relevant experience.
• Good exposure in the analysis and design of geotechnical works, concrete structures, steel structures, civil works, or soil-structure interactions.

Responsibilities

• Modeling, analyzing and finalizing structural design for using structure analysis software.
• Review and approval of drawings, specifications, work method statements, risks assessment and others related to the C&S works.
• Ensure all C&S works comply with relevant statutory standards, regulations, and Codes of Practice.
• Shop drawings submission to client/consultant for approval.
• Coordination with the Client, Architect, Construction team, and M&E design team to resolve discrepancies and technical issues.
• Prepare and check all calculation reports for submission.
