The Role

The Strategy Director is envisioned as ‘The Code Breaker’, managing complex projects and proactively identifying opportunities for Huxly. You will develop approaches that differentiate us and leverage the broader MMR capabilities.

You are a self-starter who works independently with confidence and builds strong cross-functional relationships within MMR. You will be a key representative of Huxly to clients, inspiring confidence in our work.

Main Responsibilities:

  1. Owning complex projects: Managing client experience, delivering compelling stories, leading creative qualitative work, conducting strategic workshops and sprints, leading cultural or semiotic explorations, creating brand positioning strategies, and deploying core methodologies independently.
  2. Demonstrating expertise: Exploring industry trends, maintaining curiosity about brands and innovation, sharing insights, and developing strategic perspectives based on sensory and market research.
  3. Proposal development: Collaborating with the Growth Director to craft strategic proposals, understanding client challenges, building costed approaches, and owning client relationships to expand our reach.

Requirements:

  • Experience leading complex brand innovation projects within FMCG
  • Experience in sensory and consumer testing from concept to product testing
  • Ability to translate complex data into engaging presentations
  • Influencing senior stakeholders and contributing to innovation pipelines
  • Excellent communication skills and client confidence
  • Experience leading creative qualitative work and brand positioning strategies
  • Experience with cultural and semiotic explorations
  • Leading strategic workshops or sprints
  • Advisory capability with a strategic mindset
