Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly capable and strategic Manager to lead consulting projects and drive business development initiatives. The ideal candidate will possess deep industry knowledge across multiple sectors, a proven track record in project delivery, and strong interpersonal skills to foster effective collaboration among clients, partners, and internal teams.
As a Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the end-to-end execution of consulting projects, from client engagement and proposal development to final delivery. You will also play a key role in building client relationships and expanding our business footprint in targeted industries.

Responsibilities:
Business Development:
  1. Identify and assess potential clients across targeted industries, including energy, real estate, food & agriculture, healthcare, manufacturing, retail, private equity, and investment banking.
  2. Develop strategies and action plans to build networks and initiate client engagements.
  3. Prepare presentation materials and thought leadership content leveraging the company’s industry expertise and project track record.
  4. Build and maintain long-term relationships with potential clients.
  5. Collaborate closely with the senior management team in Singapore to align business development strategies.
Project Management & Delivery:
  1. Serve as the primary point of contact for clients during project execution, addressing challenges and ensuring expectations are met.
  2. Manage project budgets and timelines to ensure successful delivery.
  3. Support research and consultation activities as required.
  4. Provide guidance and on-the-job training for consultants and analysts.
  5. Conduct project reviews with internal teams to assess outcomes and extract key learnings.
People Development:
  1. Engage with and mentor consulting team members, including consultants and senior consultants.
  2. Provide coaching on core consulting skills such as logical structuring, effective presentation, and both qualitative and quantitative analysis.
  3. Support professional development through continuous feedback and training.
Requirements:
  1. Minimum of 3 years of experience in research and strategy consulting, with direct involvement in project delivery.
  2. Proficiency in English & Japanese language to liaise with internal and external Japanese speaking clients (preferably JLPT N2 or above)
  3. Demonstrated ability to build and maintain long-term client relationships, with a history of repeat project engagements.
  4. Willingness to travel for business as needed.
  5. Experience in managing consulting projects and guiding both senior and junior team members is a strong advantage.
  6. Deep industry knowledge in one or more sectors is a plus.
  7. Prior experience in business growth strategy projects will be highly beneficial.
