Our client, a reputable Japanese trading company, is currently seeking a Strategy & Business Development Manager.

【 Responsibilities 】
- Lead the end-to-end innovation cycle, from identifying market shifts and customer pain points to designing and launching new business models.
- Drive ideation processes that explore emerging technologies, new value chains, or unmet needs in the automotive and supply chain ecosystem.
- Develop and implement forward-looking strategies aligned with the company's long-term growth vision.
- Conduct in-depth research on industry trends, competitive landscapes, and macroeconomic shifts to inform innovation opportunities.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to design, test, and iterate new business concepts.
- Apply Design Thinking, Agile, and Lean methodologies to rapidly prototype and validate ideas.
- Build strong partnerships with startups, research institutions, and innovation hubs to explore co-development or investment opportunities.
- Develop compelling business cases, financial models, and go-to-market plans for new ventures.
- Pilot and incubate new initiatives, managing early-stage execution and transition to business units as appropriate.

- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Innovation, Strategy, Engineering, or a related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience in business innovation, new business development, or strategic transformation
- Experience in end-to-end innovation cycle (starting with invention, product launching and continuous improvement)
- Experience working in the wholesome trading/automobile industry
- Strong grasp of Agile, Lean Start-up, Design Thinking, and business model innovation
- Exceptional communication, storytelling, and stakeholder alignment skills
- Experience engaging with senior leaders and navigating cross-functional dynamics
