As a Strategist, you will drive a clear and consistent strategic thread across the business, from initial insights to implementation, powering our strategic offering. You will be a vital member of the strategy team, bringing a balanced perspective encompassing business, brand, and crucially, human-centered design principles to the identification of impactful innovation opportunities.
Your expertise lies in uncovering powerful insights that not only form the bedrock of strategic hypotheses but also inspire compelling and human-focused experience ideas through close collaboration with the design teams.
You will also maintain a keen awareness of significant social, cultural, and technological shifts that inform our strategic thinking and direction. With a solid foundation in research methodologies, you will effectively articulate complex strategic concepts and appreciate the interplay between rigorous deductive analysis and insightful inductive leaps that progress our team's thinking and directly inform the development of human-centric experience concepts in partnership with design.
Your ability to effectively translate strategic insights into impactful, human-centered design and experience ideation will be critical to our collective success.
1. Responsibilities:
- Drive Strategic Insights: Conduct in-depth research (primary & secondary, including interviews) and competitive analysis to identify strategic opportunities and translate them into actionable insights and strategic hypotheses.
- Shape Innovative Experiences: Collaborate closely with design teams to ensure strategic insights fuel innovative experience ideation and design directions. Translate strategic hypotheses into inspiring user experience concepts.
- Fuel Creativity & Innovation: Identify and share analogous examples from adjacent markets to inspire clients and design teams. Support the development and innovation of user experiences.
- Solve Complex Problems: Identify and analyze complex problems, often with multiple stakeholders, to develop innovative and effective solutions.
- Communicate & Influence: Participate in and lead client presentations and workshops. Contribute to strong client relationships and engagement.
- Advance Strategic Capabilities: Develop and implement strategic plans that align with business goals and user needs. Contribute to internal thought leadership to enhance our market positioning and to the evolution of our strategic toolkit.
- Provide Leadership Support: Support the Strategy Director.
2. Requirements:
- Strategic Experience: Minimum 3 yearsof proven experience in strategy, demonstrating a strong understanding of business principles and strategic thinking.
- Human-Centered Approach: A deep curiosity about human behavior and motivations, driving a genuine interest in understanding user needs.
- Analytical and Problem-Solving Prowess: Strong analytical skills to interpret data, derive actionable insights, and develop innovative solutions for complex problems.
- Creative and Innovative Mindset: Ability to think unconventionally and generate novel, impactful ideas.
- Strategic Vision: Demonstrated capacity to develop and execute long-term strategic plans.
- Independent Drive: Highly self-motivated with the ability to work independently and manage time effectively with minimal supervision.
- Exceptional Communication: Outstanding interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills, capable of engaging and influencing diverse stakeholders.
- Adaptive and Agile: Proven ability to thrive in fast-paced, dynamic environments, readily adapting to new challenges and maintaining effectiveness.
- Organizational Mastery: Excellent prioritization and multitasking skills to manage workload effectively.
