Strategic Technical Project Manager, GRID Deployments

Job summary

General Robotics seeks a Technical Project Manager to lead delivery of customer projects on the GRID platform. You will coordinate with engineers to scope solutions, assess feasibility, and communicate progress to customers across regions.

You will stay close to technical progress, lead discussions on integration and deployment, and translate field feedback into GRID roadmap. This role offers exposure to Physical AI and collaboration with a world-class team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Robotics, or a relevant technical field.
• 3+ years of technical project or program management experience, or prior experience as an engineer moving into project management.
• Working understanding of machine learning, robotics, or software systems, enough to engage meaningfully in technical discussions and design reviews.
• Familiarity with the software development lifecycle and tools such as Git, Jira, or similar.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders in parallel.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Ability to travel up to [X]% to customer sites and our US office as needed.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple customer projects concurrently from kickoff to deployment and handover.
• Break customer requirements into technical scope, work plans, and milestones with engineering.
• Assess feasibility and risks against GRID capabilities.
• Track progress with Forward Deployed Engineers and research teams in Singapore and the US.
• Lead technical discussions on integration, hardware setups, and deployment environments.
• Review and shape solution designs, data collection plans, and evaluation criteria.
• Define success metrics and acceptance criteria for deployments.
• Act as primary customer contact, building trusted relationships with stakeholders.
• Provide regular progress updates, demos, risks, and next steps.
• Identify risks early and drive cross-team resolution.
• Translate field feedback into GRID product roadmap inputs.
• Spot opportunities for expanding customer value and new use cases.
