Job summary

Western Digital in Singapore is seeking a Strategic Sourcing Manager for Semiconductor & Electronics to shape the company’s global supply base through strategic sourcing, supplier leadership, and cost management. You will develop category strategies, secure contracts, drive supplier negotiations, and collaborate with Engineering, Ops, and R&D to enable design-to-cost and risk mitigation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years in sourcing, procurement, or supplier management.
• Experience with supplier negotiations and global strategies.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain global commodity strategies and sourcing roadmaps.
• Lead supplier selection, RFI/RFP/RFQ, and negotiations for LTAs.
• Drive supplier segmentation, QBRs, and corrective action plans.
• Deliver cost savings, cost avoidance, and productivity targets.
• Identify and mitigate risks across capacity, supply continuity, and compliance.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Ops, and R&D for innovation and design-to-cost.
• Strategic sourcing and category management.
• Advanced negotiation and contracting skills.
• Supplier relationship management at executive level.
