Job summary

RECRUIT EXPERT PTE. LTD. in Singapore is seeking a production planning specialist to develop strategies that balance output, WIP levels, inventory targets and customer demand across the site.

The ideal candidate holds an engineering degree and at least two years in industrial engineering, production planning or manufacturing operations, with strong Excel and C++ skills. You will coordinate ingot schedules, monitor yield, and drive improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline.
• At least 2 years of relevant experience in industrial engineering, production planning or manufacturing operations.
• Knowledge of manufacturing logistics, production processes, capacity planning and product costing.
• Strong Microsoft Excel and PC skills; knowledge of C++.
• Good team coordination and communication skills, with the ability to work across manufacturing functions.

Responsibilities

• Develop production planning strategies to balance output, WIP levels, inventory targets and customer demand.
• Analyse equipment capacity, production flow and process performance to identify opportunities for improved utilisation and throughput.
• Coordinate production schedules for ingot manufacturing and inter-site deliveries, adjusting plans based on product mix, capacity and changing specifications.
• Monitor yield and process-time variations, implementing planning adjustments to maintain stable production performance.
• Support manufacturing improvement initiatives through data analysis, capacity studies and optimisation of material flow.
