Job Summary:


The Strategic Planning Manager plays a critical role in shaping the long-term direction of the company by identifying growth opportunities, analysing market trends, and developing data-driven strategies to enhance business performance and brand positioning. Working closely with senior management, sales, marketing, and operations, this role ensures alignment between strategic objectives and execution across all event initiatives.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Lead the development and implementation of short- and long-term strategic plans for business growth, expansion, and innovation.
  • Conduct market research, competitor analysis, and industry trend monitoring to identify new opportunities and potential risks.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., marketing, sales, creative, operations) to ensure strategies are actionable and aligned with business goals.
  • Develop financial models, business cases, and KPI frameworks to support strategic decisions.
  • Evaluate past event performances and client feedback to inform future planning.
  • Prepare strategic presentations and reports for internal stakeholders and potential partners.
  • Identify and drive partnerships or collaborations that align with company objectives.
  • Support new market entry, service diversification, and brand development initiatives.
  • Monitor progress of strategic projects and provide timely recommendations for adjustments.

Requirements:


  • Experience in strategic planning, business development, or consulting; experience in the events or MICE industry is highly advantageous.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Proficiency in tools like Excel, PowerPoint, and strategic planning software.
