Job Summary:

My client is a Web3 Venture Capital firm and they are seeking an experienced Strategic Partnership Director with a strong background in DeFi to lead their investment and partnership initiatives in the decentralized finance space. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying and evaluating investment opportunities, developing strategic partnerships, and driving growth in the DeFi ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Investment Analysis: Identify, evaluate, and execute investment opportunities in DeFi projects, including token investments, equity investments, and strategic projects/partnerships.

2. Partnership Development: Develop and maintain strategic partnerships with DeFi protocols, fintech companies, financial institutions, and other stakeholders.

3. Market Research: Conduct market research and analysis to stay up-to-date on DeFi trends, market developments, and regulatory changes.

4. Deal Origination: Originate and execute deals with DeFi projects, including negotiating terms, structuring investments, and conducting due diligence.

5. Portfolio Management: Manage and monitor investment portfolios, including tracking performance, identifying opportunities for growth, and mitigating risks.

Requirements:

1. DeFi Expertise: Strong understanding of DeFi protocols, blockchain technology, and financial markets.

2. Investment Experience: Proven experience in investment analysis, portfolio management, and deal-making in the DeFi space.

3. Strategic Thinking: Ability to think strategically and develop innovative solutions to drive growth and investment returns.
