Job summary

QUESSCORP SINGAPORE PTE. LTD. is seeking a focused in-house lawyer to support business partnerships through drafting, reviewing, and negotiating commercial agreements.

You will advise on partnership structures, obligations, and risk, and establish robust provisions covering termination, liability, and dispute resolution. Collaborating with business and operations teams, you will develop templates, review procedures, and coordinate with external counsel for specialist or local advice.

Qualifications

• Law degree from a recognised university.
• 2–3 years of relevant experience in commercial contracts, corporate advisory, or partnership-related legal work.
• Experience drafting, reviewing, and negotiating commercial and multi-party agreements.
• Strong understanding of contract law, contractual risk allocation, and commercial arrangements.
• Ability to translate legal issues into clear, practical advice for business stakeholders.
• Strong analytical, drafting, negotiation, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple matters independently and collaborate across teams.
• Experience supporting cross-border partnerships or technology businesses.
• In-house legal experience or experience working closely with commercial teams.

Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate commercial agreements supporting business partnerships and third-party relationships.
• Advise on partnership structures, contractual obligations, and legal risks.
• Establish clear contractual provisions covering responsibilities, liability, termination, and dispute resolution.
• Work with business and operations teams to develop practical contractual protections and resolve agreement-related issues.
• Develop and maintain agreement templates and legal review procedures.
• Coordinate with external counsel where specialist or local legal advice is required.
