Strategic Partner Development Manager, Search and Gemini (English, Bahasa)

Overview

The Global Partnerships team seeks and explores new opportunities with Google's partners. As a Strategic Partner Development Manager for Search and Gemini, you will shape the go-to-market strategy and help build, launch and scale products across Indonesia and APAC. You will interact with Google leadership, cross-functional teams and external partners to realize the potential of our products and identify critical market opportunities and user insights that drive go-to-market plans.

Responsibilities

  • Lead complex strategic partnerships that are often first-of-its-kind, manage implementations and relationships.
  • Identify gaps and drive strategy where Search, Gemini and other key product areas need to innovate, creating opportunities for growth in Indonesia.
  • Drive go-to-market planning for key features across Search and Gemini, help design and collaborate to execute scalable content acquisition programs; lead research and analysis to determine content categories and vertical strategies.
  • Design and implement processes and policies to improve Google’s ability to partner at scale, ensure partners fulfill obligations and Google provides required support.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders at Google (e.g., tech, legal, marketing, sales) to provide feedback from partners and market intelligence to product teams to create more locally relevant offerings.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 7 years of experience in business development, partnerships, management consulting, or investment banking in relevant industries.
  • Experience working with C-level executives and across all levels of management.
  • Experience managing agreements or partnerships.
  • Ability to communicate in English and Bahasa Indonesia fluently to interact with partners in the market.

Preferred qualifications

  • Experience working autonomously in a dynamic, collaborative environment.
  • Experience managing complex, end-to-end partnerships.
  • Ability to identify potential business opportunities, assess financial/business benefits, structure agreements, and discuss terms with strategic partners.
  • Ability to operate in ambiguous scenarios across various market landscapes and partner profiles.
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills.

About The Job

Google's line of products and services to our clients continues to grow. The Partnerships Development team seeks and explores new opportunities with Google's partners, helping partners grow using Google's offerings. Your knowledge of relevant verticals and relationships with key industry players will help shape our applications and content for products such as YouTube, Google TV and Google Commerce. The Knowledge and Information (K&I) Partnerships team leads engagement with external partners, negotiating and managing content partnerships and integrations to build and differentiate Google’s products in areas including Search, Gemini, Geo, Research and Machine Intelligence, as well as Commerce and Ads.

As a Strategic Partner Development Manager for Search and Gemini, you will shape the go-to-market strategy for these and other core products, help build, launch and scale initiatives across Indonesia and APAC, interact with Google leadership and external partners, and drive market opportunities and user insights with go-to-market plans. You will communicate complex issues with attention to detail and manage stakeholder relationships across management levels.

The Global Partnerships organization explores new opportunities with Google's partners and supports Google’s own Product teams with essential partnerships to power experiences in advertising, Search, Assistant, Maps, Travel, Shopping, Payments and more.
