Job summary

Advantest is seeking a Commodity Manager – OEM Systems to own end-to-end commodity strategy for OEM systems, including workstations, manipulators, and thermal management solutions. You will govern supplier relationships, lead long-term contract discussions, and drive cost competitiveness and supply chain resilience.

The role requires 5+ years in commodity management and experience with globally matrix-organized teams.

Qualifications

• Degree in Supply Chain Management or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in commodity management, sourcing or procurement.
• Experience with OEM-type commodity categories and supplier governance.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute the end-to-end commodity strategy for OEM systems and manage supplier lifecycle.
• Define and adapt sourcing strategies, including spend management, pricing, lead times and cost optimization.
• Govern strategic supplier relationships across the full lifecycle, including contract coverage and negotiations.
• Establish and steer Supplier Performance Management and mitigate supplier risks.
• Balance mid- and long-term capacity scenarios and strengthen supply chain resilience.
• Collaborate with R&D, Product Management, Quality and other stakeholders on future technology demand.
