Applied Materials in Singapore is seeking a proactive Materials Planner to develop, implement and manage cross-functional planning processes, including make-versus-buy, capacity planning, scheduling, and inventory control. You will work with finance and operations to ensure accurate material forecasting and on-time delivery.

You will collaborate with quality, engineering, machining and assembly to align production schedules with demand, optimize supplier performance, and support cost reduction

Qualifications

• Experience in materials planning, procurement, or supply chain.
• Strong collaboration with cross-functional teams.
• Ability to manage scheduling and inventory control.

Responsabilités

• Develop, implement and manage cross-functional planning processes including make-vs-buy, capacity planning, scheduling, inventory and related costs.
• Analyze demand, forecasts and historical usage to develop build-to-order/forecast plans with cross-functional teams.
• Establish methods for inventory forecasting, purchasing and material control.
• Manage production scheduling by monitoring inventory, progress and schedule reliability; work with Finance to guard against discrepancies.
• Develop sourcing strategy and manage supplier relationships to meet cost, quality and delivery targets.
• Coordinate with quality, engineering, machining and assembly to ensure 100% on-time delivery.
• Represent materials on cross-functional teams; manage department budget and resources; drive cost reduction.
• Select, evaluate and manage personnel for efficient operations.
