Job summary

SILICON BOX is seeking a Material Planner in Singapore to manage MRP and ensure timely PR releases, preventing material shortages across assembly and test operations.

You will collaborate with Procurement, Engineering, and Production Planning to maintain BOM accuracy, monitor inventory, and drive improvements in material flow and demand planning. Knowledge of ERP systems and strong Excel skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Diploma or bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Industrial Engineering, Logistics, or related field.
• 2–5 years in material planning or MRP-related role, preferably in semiconductor, electronics manufacturing, or OSAT industry.
• Hands-on experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle) and strong understanding of MRP logic and BOM structure.
• Exposure to Lean/Six Sigma or supply chain certifications (APICS/CPIM) is beneficial.
• Strong Excel/data analysis skills for tracking material usage, BOM accuracy, and shortage trends.
• Good communication and coordination skills to work effectively with Procurement, Engineering, and cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Review and manage MRP to identify material requirements based on production schedules and forecasts.
• Analyze MRP exception messages and take corrective action to prevent shortages.
• Review and verify BOMs for accuracy; work with Engineering on ECNs and BOM updates.
• Release PRs on time to meet production build schedules and track PR-to-PO status.
• Proactively monitor material availability and coordinate with Procurement to resolve delays and shortages.
• Maintain inventory accuracy and report key metrics to Management.
