Strategic Marketing Specialist – Asia Pacific
Location: Buona Vista
Regional Focus: Southeast Asia & South Asia
Function: Strategic Marketing | B2B | Growth & Innovation

Are you a strategic thinker with a passion for uncovering market opportunities and turning insights into impact? We are seeking a Strategic Marketing Specialist to lead B2B marketing initiatives and drive growth across the Asia Pacific region, with a focus on Southeast and South Asia.

This high-impact role combines market research, project leadership, and strategic competency development. You’ll work closely with both regional and global leadership teams to shape market strategies and commercialize innovation.

Key Responsibilities

1. Market Research & Strategy

  • Analyze macro trends, market shifts, and competitor movements.

  • Identify and segment emerging market opportunities.

  • Prioritize and recommend high-potential growth areas through robust targeting and positioning strategies.

2. Project Leadership

  • Lead strategic projects in areas such as market development, product innovation, and new business models.

  • Drive cross-functional teams through a structured innovation process (stage-gate).

3. Strategic Marketing Enablement

  • Act as the regional competency leader in strategic marketing frameworks and tools.

  • Train and coach teams on methodologies including:

    • Market sizing & segmentation

    • Value chain & customer VOC analysis

    • Financial modeling (NPV, IRR, break-even)

    • Value proposition and pricing development

    • Full 4P marketing strategy execution

  • Develop and deploy custom marketing tools as needed.

What We’re Looking For
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in strategic marketing or business strategy roles.

  • At least 5 years in a customer-facing capacity.

  • Background in B2B industries — experience in materials science is a strong plus.

  • MBA or equivalent qualification preferred.

  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking abilities.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in global business English.

  • Proven leadership in project and change management.

  • Ability to lead in a virtual, cross-regional team environment (Americas, Europe, APAC).

  • Willingness to travel 20–40%, including international travel.
