Job description

The Strategic Insights Analyst role supports the generation of actionable insights to guide strategic business decisions. This includes coordinating research initiatives, analyzing market and consumer data, and ensuring accurate reporting. The role enhances understanding of market, trade, and consumer dynamics within defined tools and frameworks.


As the Strategic Insights Analyst, you will be responsible for:


  • Nielsen Retail Audit & Data Management : Coordinate with Nielsen and internal stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate data delivery. Validate, organize, and manage data files; escalate anomalies or delivery issues when needed.
  • Research Coordination & Vendor Management : Support the setup and execution of both quantitative and qualitative research projects. Manage timelines, logistics, and documentation in collaboration with external vendors and internal teams.
  • Reporting & Dashboard Management (GBS) : Maintain and troubleshoot marketing and sales dashboards and trackers. Collaborate with GBS teams to ensure accurate reporting and resolve data issues promptly.
  • Data Integration & Insights Generation : Conduct cross-source data analysis (e.g., Nielsen, consumer studies, internal trackers). Support ad-hoc analysis and research, generate actionable insights, and monitor evolving market trends.

Requirements:

  • Qualifications: University degree or equivalent. Minimum 3 years of experience in marketing research within a research agency, FMCG company, or both
  • Language: Fluent in written and spoken English
  • Functional Skills: Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills, Working knowledge of quantitative and qualitative research methodologies, Familiarity with retail audit data (e.g., Nielsen) and commercial reporting tools, Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint; knowledge of dashboard tools (e.g., Power BI) is a plus, Strong communication and collaboration skills across internal teams and external partners
