Responsibilities

• Set short- and long-term objectives for the department or business area aligned with the company’s overall strategy to drive business growth
• Lead department heads, managers, and regional teams by establishing clear responsibilities, priorities, and performance expectations to ensure effective team management
• Make or approve significant decisions on budgets, investments, recruitment, major projects, suppliers, and business initiatives within delegated authority to optimize resource use
• Take accountability for agreed KPIs, revenue and growth objectives, profitability, cost control, and other departmental targets to achieve business goals
• Prepare annual plans and budgets, allocate resources efficiently, and monitor spending to ensure delivery of appropriate business value
• Coordinate cross-department collaboration among Sales, Marketing, Finance, Operations, HR, and regional teams to promote unified business operations
• Build and develop a strong management team by reviewing performance, identifying talent, and fostering future leaders to sustain organizational capability
• Ensure adherence to company policies, approval procedures, compliance requirements, and internal controls to maintain governance standards
• Represent the company with key customers, distributors, suppliers, consultants, industry organizations, and strategic partners to strengthen external relationships
• Provide regular management reports to the Managing Director/CEO on performance, risks, opportunities, and major decisions requiring senior approval to support informed leadership
