Job summary

StraitsX Group is seeking a senior FP&A leader to own the planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting engine across multiple markets, products, and entities. You will deliver analyses that inform strategic decisions on new products, partnerships, and markets.

The role demands strong judgment, the ability to challenge the business when numbers don’t support the story, and a drive to build rather than maintain.

Qualifications

• 8–10+ years of experience in investment banking, strategic finance, or corporate FP&A.
• Advanced financial modelling with ability to derive recommendations from data.
• Strong communication and storytelling to influence senior stakeholders.
• Deep understanding of fintech business models, unit economics, and market trends.
• Strategic, ownership-driven mindset with autonomous, cross-functional leadership.

Responsibilities

• Own budgeting, forecasting, and monthly/weekly reporting cycles with decision-ready recommendations.
• Prepare board and management materials, distilling analyses into clear narratives of performance.
• Partner with product and commercial leaders to challenge logic and drive growth targets.
• Support fundraising by leading data room prep and quality-checking financial models and data.
• Identify inefficiencies in finance systems and processes, applying automation and AI to sharpen analytics.
