The Standard, Singapore is seeking a Financial Controller to lead the Finance and Accounting function, delivering accurate financial statements, internal controls, and timely analysis. You will oversee budgeting, forecasting, cash management, and payroll oversight while ensuring compliance with statutory requirements.

You will report to the General Manager, collaborate with the Owning Company, and guide the finance team to optimize performance and ensure timely owner reporting.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in accounting/finance/commerce or related field.
• Professional accounting qualification (CPA/CA/ACCA) is an advantage.
• Minimum 10 years' experience in finance/accounting, hospitality preferred.
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, taxation, payroll and internal controls.
• Experience leading and developing finance teams.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and hotel accounting systems.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Aufgaben

• Lead the Finance and Accounting function, ensuring accurate reporting and internal controls.
• Provide timely financial analysis and recommendations to management.
• Oversee budgeting, forecasting and cash management.
• Manage payroll oversight and compliance with requirements.
• Coordinate year-end close, tax filings and statutory reporting.
• Maintain relationships with General Manager, Owning Company and Finance team.
• Develop and mentor finance staff aligned with staffing plans.
• Monitor service quality and control effectiveness across departments.
• Identify training needs and coordinate role-specific training.
• Escalate material risks and decisions requiring management approval.
• Ensure compliance with hotel policies and accounting standards.
