Job summary

The Supreme HR Advisory Pte. Ltd. is seeking a Financial Controller in Singapore to lead the Finance Department, overseeing accounting, payroll, and cost control while ensuring compliance and accurate reporting.

The role requires extensive hospitality finance experience and strong leadership capabilities. The position offers a demanding remit with cross-functional collaboration with the General Manager and department heads, plus interaction with external banks and auditors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related discipline.
• Professional accounting qualification (e.g., CPA, CA, ACCA) is an advantage.
• Minimum 10 years' experience in finance/accounting, preferably within the hospitality industry.
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, taxation, payroll, and internal controls.
• Experience in leading and developing finance teams.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and hotel financial/accounting systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the Finance Department across accounting, payroll, AP/AR, cost control, and IT.
• Oversee financial statements, budgets, forecasts, cash flow, and monthly P&L.
• Ensure compliance with hotel policies, tax regulations, and statutory requirements.
• Monitor revenues, expenses, inventory, payroll, and cash with strong internal controls.
• Drive financial planning and forecasting within company standards.
• Collaborate with GM and department heads to improve financial performance.
• Liaise with banks, auditors, insurers, suppliers, and authorities.
• Supervise invoice payments and cost management (F&B costs).
• Develop and maintain financial reporting systems for decision-making.
