Job summary

PERSOL Singapore Pte Ltd in Singapore is seeking a Business Controller for Corporate Controlling Finance. The role is based in Boon Lay and focuses on forecasting, rolling planning, and performance reporting to steer financial outcomes across Inventory, NWC, and FCF metrics.

The candidate will consolidate forecasts, prepare management packs, support Capex controlling in APAC, monitor variances, and drive governance improvements while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Degree/Diploma in Finance, Accounting, or Business (or equivalent professional qualification).
• 5-7 years relevant experience in Financial Planning, Budgeting, or similar at a multinational corporation.
• Proficiency in SAP and MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word); strong business analytical skills.
• Meticulous, structured, detail-oriented, with a process-improvement mindset.
• Strong interpersonal/communication skills across functions, cultures, and hierarchy levels.
• Able to work independently as well as within a team.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with stakeholders and Business Units to prepare and consolidate rolling forecasts for Inventory and Net Working Capital (NWC).
• Analyse forecast movements and key drivers, flag significant variances and risks.
• Follow up with BUs to support achievement of KPIs.
• Analyse movements in rolling forecasts vs. actual performance, including key variances against plan/forecast.
• Prepare timely monthly financial performance reports and management reporting packs to support review, decision-making, and performance steering.
• Free Cash Flow (FCF) & Capex Controlling.
• Support APAC Capex controlling activities: budget preparation, forecast updates, monthly reporting, and monitoring of actual expenditure against plan.
• Prepare and submit weekly FCF forecasts, monitor key movements/variances, and provide timely reporting and analysis.
• Prepare, coordinate, and submit timely and accurate financial reports and planning submissions in TAMIS.
• Consolidate and submit annual planning templates and other required financial information to the central controlling team per established timelines.
• Ensure strict compliance with integrity codes, company guidelines, and Group-level requirements.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement; support simplification, standardisation, and/or automation of recurring processes.
• Perform other financial, controlling, reporting, planning, and analytical tasks as assigned, including special projects and process changes.
