Job summary

Kerry Consulting is seeking a Business Controller to join its regional Finance team in Singapore. The role focuses on FP&A, business partnering and ongoing finance transformation initiatives, with ownership of Anaplan budgeting and forecasting.

The candidate should bring CA qualification and at least 5 years of experience in business controlling, FP&A or commercial finance, and be able to translate complex financial data into actionable insights for senior stakeholders.

Qualifications

Job description

An established global retail organisation is seeking a Business Controller with strong FP&A and business partnering capabilities to join its regional Finance team in Singapore. This is a broad-based role with exposure to senior stakeholders, financial planning and analysis, and ongoing Finance transformation initiatives.

Responsibilities

You will support the regional financial planning, forecasting and reporting agenda, providing meaningful analysis on business performance and key variances to support management decision-making.

As a Finance Business Partner, you will work closely with key corporate and commercial functions, providing financial insights and evaluating the impact of business initiatives. You will also play an active role in strengthening planning and reporting processes, driving greater efficiency and supporting broader digital transformation initiatives across Finance.

A key aspect of the role will involve ownership of the organisation's Anaplan budgeting and forecasting environment, including model maintenance and development, stakeholder support and system enhancements in partnership with external consultants.

Requirements

You are a qualified Chartered Accountant (CA), with at least 5 years of relevant experience in Business Controlling, FP&A or Commercial Finance. You should have strong financial analysis and business partnering capabilities, coupled with hands-on experience in Anaplan model building.

To succeed in this role, you will be commercially minded, analytical and proactive, with the ability to translate complex financial information into clear insights for senior stakeholders. You are comfortable working independently within a fast-paced regional environment and partnering stakeholders across different functions and geographies.
