Job summary

GovTech is a public-sector tech accelerator in Singapore, seeking a Finance Business Partner to act as a trusted adviser to division leads, combining financial rigour with clear data-driven narratives. You will drive budgeting, forecasting, and reporting while supporting strategic decisions that enable public value and responsible resource allocation.

You will partner with leaders to assess business cases, monitor expenditures, and ensure compliance with government financial regulations,

Qualifications

Degree in Accountancy or Finance with a professional accounting qualification (CPA/ACCA or equivalent).
Strong analytical skills with ability to translate data into actionable insights.
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; knowledge of dashboarding tools.

Responsibilities

Lead end-to-end financial planning and performance management for major divisions or programmes.
Partner with division leads to evaluate business cases and allocate resources; conduct scenario analysis.
Monitor project expenditure, track milestones, and flag financial risks; guide users on financial matters.
Drive improvements in financial processes, systems, and controls; lead cost optimisation initiatives.
Execute month/year-end closing, budget allocations, and analyze variances and metrics.
Prepare revenue/expense accruals and grant recovery; ensure compliance with regulations.
Undertake other duties to support the Finance team and organisational objectives.
