Job summary

Surbana Jurong Group seeks an experienced Assistant Finance Manager / Finance Manager to lead month-end and year-end closing, forecast accuracy, and annual budgeting. You will oversee journal entries, intercompany reconciliations and statutory reporting in a fast-paced, global environment.

You will collaborate with AR/AP Shared Services, Group Finance, Treasury, Tax and Internal Auditors to ensure compliance and robust financial controls. Singapore posting with regional exposure awaits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting; professional certification preferred.
• At least 8 years of relevant experience, with ≥3 years in a managerial capacity.
• External audit experience is advantageous; strong knowledge of local accounting standards and tax rules.

Responsibilities

• Ensure timely month-end and year-end closing, statutory reporting, journal entries, and reconciliations.
• Review intercompany balances and maintain accurate balances.
• Manage daily accounting operations and collaborate with stakeholders on policy compliance.
• Coordinate with AR & AP Shared Services on period closure, collections and payments.
• Liaise with Group Finance, Treasury, Tax and Internal auditors; coordinate statutory audits.
