Job description

Our client, an innovative technology company, is seeking a highly skilled Strategic Finance (Assistant Manager/Manager)to support its financial planning and analysis needs. This role involves developing financial models, preparing detailed reports, and collaborating with key stakeholders to provide actionable insights that drive the company's strategic and financial goals.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain robust financial models for decision-making, including M&A evaluations, revenue forecasts, cost analysis, and capital budgeting.
  • Prepare executive-level presentations for board meetings and investor relations, showcasing financial performance and key business metrics.
  • Analyze and prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports to provide insights into trends and financial health.
  • Lead the budgeting and forecasting process, working closely with department heads to ensure alignment with organizational objectives.
  • Facilitate quarterly budget reviews and monthly department performance assessments with HODs.
  • Draft financial responses and reports for internal and external stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics.
  • Professional certifications such as ACCA or CFA Level 1/2 preferred.
  • At least 5 years of experience in advisory, audit, or commercial roles.
  • Expertise in financial modeling and tools such as Efficient Elements for MS PowerPoint.
  • Proven ability to manage inputs from various stakeholders and align departmental goals.
  • Experience in M&A evaluations, acquisition synergies mapping, and leading investor presentations.
  • AM/Manager-level experience from Big 4 audit/advisory firms or small-cap investment firms.
  • Candidates with hands-on strategy and operational experience are highly desirable.
