Job summary

MICRON SEMICONDUCTOR ASIA OPERATIONS PTE LTD is seeking an Engineer to optimize production layouts in our factory. You will apply industrial engineering principles to improve material flow, footprint efficiency, and overall output while maintaining up-to-date ramp-plan layouts and documentation.

You’ll collaborate with Manufacturing, Engineering and Facilities, learn fab design and cleanroom protocols, and explore AI-enabled tools to drive continuous improvement in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related discipline.
• Strong analytical skills with data-driven decision making.
• Adaptable to fast-paced, dynamic environments.
• Collaborative mindset with cross-functional stakeholders.
• Willingness to work in a cleanroom environment.
• Basic coding knowledge is an advantage.
• Interest in and knowledge of the semiconductor industry and Micron.
• Ability to apply AI literacy to AI-enabled tools.

Responsibilities

• Optimize production equipment layouts to improve material flow and factory output.
• Maintain layout documentation for tool installations, relocations, upgrades, and ramp plans.
• Assess layout feasibility with Facilities and tool owners to reflect operational conditions.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing, Engineering and Facilities to communicate changes.
• Develop understanding of fab design and cleanroom protocols to support planning.
• Integrate AI-assisted tools to improve efficiency and quality.
