Job summary

Singtel is seeking a seasoned IT Architect to drive strategic technology architectures in a Singapore context. You will partner with sales, product, and delivery teams to shape technical roadmaps and ensure alignment with business goals.

Responsibilities include defining requirements, leading RFI/RFP efforts, and developing blueprints while evaluating emerging technologies to keep solutions cost-effective and future-ready.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 5 years IT architecture experience, ideally in telco or large enterprise.
• Expertise in networking, digital platforms, or Managed Services.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Professional certifications such as ITIL, CCNA, TOGAF are an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Partner the account sales team to qualify customer needs and perform presales engagement.
• Define business and technical requirements including regulations and drivers.
• Lead RFI/RFP opportunities with solution ownership across units.
• Develop architecture specifications, blueprints, and reference models.
• Evaluate new technologies and recommend adoption or deprecation.
• Drive standardisation, reusability, and simplified architectures across projects.
• Support proofs-of-concepts and pilots to validate approaches.
• Stay current on competitive differentiators and market signals.
• Identify business value opportunities through technology and data.
