Job summary

The Land Transport Authority (LTA) is seeking an experienced Strategic Communications and Media Relations Manager/Deputy Manager to shape and execute strategic communications for Singapore’s transport initiatives. You will lead integrated plans, forecast public sentiment, and identify publicity opportunities while managing media relations, including during crises.

Knowledge in Communications, Public Relations, Political Science, or related field.
At least 8 years of relevant experience, ideally in public communications.
Strong set of writing and editing skills.
Experience with crisis communications and stakeholder management is preferred.
Understanding and interest in Singapore’s transport landscape is a plus.

Responsibilities

Shape and execute strategic communication strategies to enhance understanding and awareness of LTA initiatives and policies.
Develop integrated communications plans and plan opportunities for publicity.
Monitor public sentiment and bridge gaps between public perception and LTA positions.
Prepare news releases, presentations, and factsheets to communicate initiatives clearly.
Conduct proactive media cultivation and manage crises with relevant agencies.
