Job summary

Dell Technologies in Singapore seeks a Senior Advisor for Procurement (Commodity Management) to lead supplier relationships, develop sourcing strategies, and optimize cost management across programs. You will collaborate with product groups, supply chain, and front-end teams to shape RFQs, analyses, negotiations, and business awards.

The role covers global stakeholders, requiring coordination across time zones while maintaining work-life balance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline.
• Demonstrated continued growth in procurement over more than 6 years, with at least 4 years in cost management and sourcing.
• Strong ability to develop supplier as well as internal relationships.
• Cost modeling across mechanical stamping of stainless-steel parts, injection molding of plastic parts, PCBAs, manufacturing or other cost drivers.
• Experience applying cost management techniques to sourcing or cost management activities.

Responsibilities

• Management of supplier relationships: strengthen relationships and close gaps with Dell requirements.
• Sourcing: collaborate on goals, RFQ packages, analysis, negotiations, and business awards.
• Cost management: target aggressive yet reasonable costs; identify risks and opportunities; coordinate with finance.
• Development and deployment of cost management and sourcing toolkits; deploy in sourcing and cost management activities.
• Development and rollout of best-in-class processes; identify gaps and implement enhancements.
• Collaborate internationally with stakeholders across time zones (US and Asia).
