Job summary

Aster Chemicals and Energy Pte. Ltd. is seeking a senior procurement leader to define and execute category strategies, manage spend and contracts end-to-end, and unlock new business opportunities.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize value while upholding governance and compliance. The role requires a decade of experience in commercial/procurement roles, strong negotiation skills, and a data-driven approach to improving shareholder value.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Supply Chain or related discipline; postgraduate qualifications are a plus.
• At least 10–12 years in commercial, business development, supply chain, procurement or category management.
• Proven deal-making, negotiation and business partnering skills with strategic accounts.
• Experience managing complex stakeholder relationships across diverse groups.

Responsibilities

• Define, lead and execute strategies to deliver sustainable commercial value.
• Own categories, manage spend and contracts from planning to fulfilment.
• Develop partnerships, negotiate win-win positions and monitor performance.
• Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Engineering, Production, Finance and Legal.
• Drive risk management, and advocate data-driven decision making.
