You will join a global, cross-divisional group leveraging our market-leading position across alternatives servicing. Your role will be pivotal in designing differentiated commercial solutions that power complex client demands by leveraging capabilities across State Street Alpha, Global Markets, and Research. You will be part of a small yet critical team responsible for large commercial outcomes vital to the success of the Global Alternatives business.

What you will be responsible for

As a member of the Strategic Client Solutions Engineering team, you will collaborate with the solutions lead to understand the challenges faced by our clients and translate these into capabilities statements in areas such as:

- Core Service Capabilities: translating client requirements into scalable service models.

- Platform Capabilities: leveraging State Street Alpha platform capabilities to extend clients' enterprise environments across CRD, CRD for Private Markets, and Data Solutions.

- New Strategic Capabilities: identifying new capabilities through co-creation to enhance our offerings.

Additional responsibilities include:

  • Leading solution requirements and scope development, including pricing and contractual design.
  • Creating program plans involving State Street, clients, and third parties.
  • Managing program milestones, dependencies, budgets, and resources.
  • Establishing project governance and ensuring stakeholder communication.
  • Driving execution with clients and third parties, ensuring governance and reporting.
  • Fostering a high-performing, collaborative culture.
  • Implementing change control, risk, issue, and decision logs.
  • Ensuring compliance with legal and internal policies.
  • Building and maintaining relationships with stakeholders.

Education & Preferred Qualifications

  • Degree in business, accounting, or related fields, with over 15 years of experience in transformational, consulting, or technical roles in alternatives asset classes.
  • Ability to handle complex situations independently and manage uncertainties.
  • Experience leading large transformational programs.
  • Project management qualifications are a plus.
  • Strong understanding of financial markets, investment processes, and back-office functions.
  • Knowledge of front and middle office technology (e.g., Charles River, Blackrock Aladdin, etc.) is advantageous.
  • Willingness to travel regionally as required.
