Job summary

Singapore Airlines is seeking a Finance professional in the Financial Planning & Control Department to manage budgeting, accounting, analysis, and reporting of expenses. You will handle cost control for Head Office divisions, review accruals and JVs, and prepare monthly variance analyses and reports to Corporate Accounts & Projects.

The role involves IT system improvements, ad-hoc projects, and collaboration with divisional users to identify cost savings and efficiencies while ensuring

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy or ACCA recognised
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Strong numerical and analytical abilities

• Clear and effective communication skills

Responsibilities

• Handle budgeting for Head Office Divisions (Fixed and Variable costs).
• Ensure proper accruals and JVs are accurate and complete.
• Review accounts payable/receivable approvals and allocation.
• Monitor monthly variance analysis and budget vs forecast; explain overruns.
• Prepare monthly/quarterly/yearly reports for Corporate Accounts & Projects.
• Assist with annual budget/long-term projections and cost-saving initiatives.
• Support rolling forecast exercises and respond to user queries.
