in Singapore is seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to lead the Finance Department, oversee accounting operations and ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance with Singapore accounting, tax and regulatory requirements. You will coordinate with management, auditors, banks and tax agents; prepare monthly, quarterly and annual statements, budgets and cash flow projections; monitor costs and internal controls; and drive process

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field.
• Professional accounting qualification such as ACCA/CPA/CA desirable.
• Experience in supervisory or managerial roles.
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, GST, audit, and internal controls.
• Familiarity with Singapore accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
• Proficient in Excel and ERP systems.

Responsibilities

• Oversee full spectrum of accounting and finance functions.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements and management reports.
• Ensure timely month-end and year-end closing of accounts.
• Prepare annual budgets, forecasts, cash flow projections, and financial analysis.
• Monitor expenditure, project costs, budgets and financial performance.
• Review accounting entries, payment vouchers, bank reconciliations and supporting documentation.
• Ensure proper maintenance of accounting records and supporting documents.
• Manage cash flow and banking matters, including payments and bank facilities.
• Coordinate with external auditors, tax agents, banks and other professionals.
• Handle statutory reporting, corporate tax, GST and compliance matters.
• Ensure compliance with Singapore Financial Reporting Standards and internal controls.
• Develop and improve accounting procedures and reporting processes.
• Support management in financial planning, cost control, risk management and decision-making.
• Liaise with headquarters and project teams on finance matters.
• Supervise, guide and support Finance Department staff.
