As a Product Engineer in Micron’s Storage Technology and Products Group (STPG), you will play a critical role in enabling world‑leading memory and storage solutions by delivering high‑quality, cost‑effective NAND products from early development through high‑volume manufacturing.
You will be responsible for the development, testing, and production of NAND products, ensuring they meet the highest standards of quality and performance with low cost. This role requires a deep understanding of NAND technology, excellent problem‑solving and analytical skills, the ability to work well in teams and the ability to work well with others, good communication skills, and self‑motivation and enthusiasm.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive product development by defining and developing high quality and cost‑efficient NAND backend test strategies for the next generation NAND memory products.
- Work with design, system, yield analysis, manufacturing, and quality teams to drive technical problem solving and innovation.
- Own the backend test flow, partnering closely withTSE to review and sign off test program releases, ensuring quality, coverage, and on‑time execution.
- Work with cross‑functional teams to enablecustomer sample delivery and product qualification through effective test coverage and risk mitigation.
- Driveproduct yield improvement through electrical failure analysis, root‑cause identification, and test optimization.
- Own backend test yield performance, including yield monitoring, analysis, and continuous improvement actions and provideyield modeling for new products to supportcost analysis and execution decisions.
- Supporttest time reduction (TTR) and cost‑reduction initiatives by optimizing test strategies while maintaining or improving customer quality.
- Utilizestate‑of‑the‑art in‑house engineering equipment to support product characterization, yield learning, and electrical failure analysis.
- Participate incontinuous improvement initiatives to deliver best‑in‑class products inquality, cost, and cycle time across high‑volume manufacturing.
- Integrates AI-assisted tools and insights into daily work to improve efficiency, quality, or effectiveness, exercising sound judgment and complying with organizational standards and legal requirements.
- Contributes to a culture of continuous improvement by identifying, testing, and sharing AI-enabled enhancements within one’s scope of work.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree inElectrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience insemiconductor product engineering, test engineering, yield engineering, or electrical failure analysis (memory/NAND experience is a strong plus).
- Solid understanding ofmanufacturing test flows, yield analysis, and test methodologies.
- Ability to work effectively across functions and influence outcomes in ahigh‑execution, schedule‑driven manufacturing environment.
- Strong analytical, problem‑solving, anddata‑driven decision‑making skills.
- Strong growth mindset, able to embrace change, challenge the status quo, and continue learning in a fast‑paced environment.
