Qualifications

  • At least 5 years experience in Liner Stowage Planning or Terminal.
  • Proficient in MS Office.

Job description

Main Objective

To provide a conducive and quality stowage planning to a containership

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for Central Stowage Planning of vessel's stability and safety.
  • Ensure break bulk acceptance, slot control, supervision and terminal performance.
  • Scheduling and controlling vessel operations.
  • Controlling operational slots and co-ordinate with bunker order.
  • Close co-ordination with Areas, Vessels and Terminals, to all vessel operational related matter.
  • Prepare RDR / SITREP reports, provide conducive stowage, 4-eye check to onboard DG segregation.
  • Secondary Tasks not limit to vessel operations or reporting
  • Additional task whenever required, including overseas assignment.
  • Assist Team Leader in mentoring new Planners.
  • Assist Team Leader in Vessel/Terminal Performance reports.
  • Ad hoc duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Diploma in Marine Operations Studies with at least 5 years’ experience in Liner Stowage planning or Terminal, or Nautical Officer with similar qualification or experience.
  • Proficient in MS Office
  • Ability to work under pressure and tactfully
  • Highly driven, systematic and efficient
  • Analytical and meticulous
  • A team player who is responsible and able to work with minimal supervision
  • Possess strong communication skills
  • Willing to learn and show flexibility in accepting any given task
  • Good positive attitude and character.
