Break down scripts to understand key story elements, character actions, and emotional tone.
Translate scripts and creative briefs into clear, cinematic storyboards
Visualize camera angles, transitions, and pacing for each scene
Collaborate closely with the director, producers, and other team members to incorporate feedback and refine visual concepts.
Prepare boards for internal pitches, production planning, and animatic development
Determine the pacing of each scene, ensuring it aligns with the narrative’s flow and mood.
Visualize complex actions or special effects to communicate the director’s intent to the effects and production teams.
Utilize both traditional hand-drawn methods and digital tools (e.g., Storyboard Pro, Photoshop) for creating storyboards.
Participate in feedback loops, refining storyboards based on director and production team input.
Strong artistic skills to sketch and create visually compelling storyboards.
Deep understanding of visual storytelling, shot composition, and pacing.
Proficiency in digital storyboarding tools (e.g., Storyboard Pro, Photoshop, or similar software).
Ability to maintain continuity, consistency, and accuracy in visual sequences.
Ability to work across various media platforms (film, TV, commercials, animation) and genres.
Ability to take direction, communicate ideas clearly, and collaborate effectively with a creative team.
Strong time management skills, with the ability to meet deadlines while managing multiple tasks or projects.
