Job summary

AEROSPEC SUPPLIES PTE LTD is seeking a dedicated storekeeper/shipping clerk at its Seletar location. The role involves receiving, inspecting, labeling, and recording inventory in the ERP system, coordinating with forwarders, and verifying shipping documents.

You will maintain stock accuracy and support cycle counts while ensuring compliance with safety procedures. Required are 3 years of storekeeping/shipping experience, a forklift licence (3 tonnes preferred), and solid knowledge of freight

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in storekeeping and shipping duties.
• Valid forklift license (3 tonnes) preferred.
• Good knowledge of freight forwarding and Incoterms.

Responsibilities

• Receive and record data into ERP system and verify data accuracy.
• Inspect incoming items for wear or defects and report issues.
• Label stock items with batch numbers and maintain inventory records.
• Liaise with forwarders on inbound/outbound shipments and prepare shipping documents.
• Verify shipping invoices and release shipments to forwarders.
• Provide shipping details to customers and relevant parties.
• Maintain shipping database and update inventory levels.
• Coordinate consumables receipt and deliveries to end users.
• Support store/warehouse activities including receiving, issuing, scrap, and stock takes.
• Participate in cycle counts and investigate inventory discrepancies.
• Engage with safety committees and assist in emergency drills.

Working location: Seletar

Working Day / Hours: Monday to Friday / 0745 - 1645 Hours (OT may be required)

• Perform receivingand record datainto ERP system
• Examine and inspect incoming items for wear or defects, reporting any damage to management.
• Mark stock items using identification labels with batch numbers
• Liaise with forwarders on outbound and inbound shipments
• Coordinate with purchasing for receiving and invoice verification and relevant shipping documents
• Verification of shipping invoices and Release of shipments to forwarders
• Submitting of shipping details/status to customers and related parties
• Updating/maintaining of Company's shipping database
• Informing relevant functions/colleagues about potential deviations to agreed transport shipping agreements
• Managing and booking of freight
• Liaise with quality and buyer on parts discrepancy
• Coordinate consumables receipt and deliveries to end users.
• Assist store and warehousing functions : support receiving, issuing, scrap and stock taking when required.
• Take part in cycle counts and stock take.Verify inventory computations by comparing them to physical counts of stock, and investigate discrepancies
• Keep track of inventory of shipping supplies
• Participates as a team member in the relevant Safety sub-committee team and periodic emergency response evacuation drills

Position Requirements:

• Valid forklift license - 3 tonnes (preferable)
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds for approximately 25% of the average work day.
• Good working knowledge about freight forwarding and Incoterms
