Job Responsibilities:
- Receive, inspect, and verify incoming goods and materials.
- Issue items from the store accurately and promptly, based on job or department requests.
- Maintain accurate stock records using the company’s inventory system.
- Perform regular stock checks and ensure proper documentation of all stock movements.
- Keep the storeroom clean, well-organized, and compliant with safety regulations.
- Ensure safe handling and proper storage of materials and equipment.
- Liaise with suppliers and internal departments for stock availability and delivery matters.
- Assist in purchasing or collection of spare parts and consumable items when necessary.
- Support in monthly stock-taking and annual audits.
- Operate forklifts or pallet jacks (if certified).
- Perform any ad hoc duties as assigned by the supervisor or management.
Requirements:
- At least 1 year of experience in storekeeping, logistics, or warehouse operations.
- Familiar with stock control procedures and basic inventory systems.
- Proficient in MS Office applications (especially Excel and Outlook).
- Meticulous, organized, and proactive with strong attention to detail.
- Positive working attitude, willing to learn, and able to work independently.
- Able to communicate effectively in English (both verbal and written).
- Physically fit and capable of lifting or moving goods.
- Possession of a valid Class 3 Driving License is a must.
- Forklift license is an advantage (but not mandatory).
