A leading company in Singapore is seeking a dedicated Warehouse Assistant to manage incoming stock and ensure efficient warehouse operations. Responsibilities include preparing orders for shipment, conducting inventory checks, and maintaining cleanliness in the warehouse. Ideal candidates will possess a secondary school education or NITEC with relevant experience and skills in forklift operation and inventory management.
Job Responsibilities:
Assist in receiving, sorting, and organizing incoming stock while inspecting goods, verifying quantities against orders, and ensuring quality standards are met.
Properly store items in designated locations within the warehouse, ensuring efficient use of space.
Prepare orders for shipment by picking, packing, and labeling products.
Conduct regular inventory checks, report any discrepancies, and maintain accurate inventory records through regular stock checks and data entry into the system.
Coordinate with other team members to fulfil orders in a timely manner and ensure customer satisfaction.
Maintain cleanliness and organization within the warehouse.
Perform cycle count and stock take exercise.
Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts or pallet jacks safely.
Follow safety protocols and guidelines to prevent accidents and injuries.
Perform any related duties assigned by the Reporting Officer as it deems fit
Job Requirements:
Secondary School education or NITEC.
Minimum 1 – 2 years of working experience in warehousing.
Lifting heavy packages is required.
Preferably with forklift license and reach truck experience.
PC literate with knowledge of SAP being an added advantage.
