Storekeeper Job Description

We are looking for an organized and experienced storekeeper responsible for managing all stock, staff, and planning promotional campaigns for the store. The storekeeper is a key person responsible for goods in the store, overseeing store control and department management.

Storekeeper Duties & Responsibilities:

1. Receive and forward all types of goods and deliveries in and out of the hotel to the correct storage areas.
2. Follow standards for issuing and receiving stock within the store's area of operation.
3. Monitor inventory regularly and compile orders based on par levels or needs.
4. Maintain clear and organized records to ensure proper filing and storage of reports and invoices.
5. Monitor periodic automatic replacement levels for all food items to ensure proper stock levels.
6. Verify that all goods arrived as per purchase agreements, delivery notes, and received quantities.
7. Manage storage of food, beverages, and operational stock.
8. Conduct daily checks on storage facilities for upkeep and hygiene.
9. Refuse acceptance of damaged, unacceptable, or incorrect items.
10. Ensure cleanliness and hygiene of storage areas, keeping them clean and tidy in compliance with regulations.
