Job description

As a Procurement Specialist, your main responsibilities will revolve around sourcing and selecting suppliers for various goods and services, negotiating contracts and pricing with vendors, placing purchase orders, and tracking deliveries. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the timely and accurate delivery of goods to our organization.In addition to procurement tasks, you will also be involved in Inventory Management. This includes receiving and inspecting incoming goods, storing items in appropriate locations, maintaining accurate records of inventory levels, monitoring stock levels, and initiating reordering as necessary. Your duties will also entail rotating stock to minimize waste and spoilage, as well as performing stock-related activities like labeling and pricing.As part of Store Operations, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean, organized, and safe storage area. You will supervise store personnel to ensure efficient operations while adhering to hygiene and safety regulations. Coordinating the movement of equipment and materials will also fall under your purview.Cost Control will be another key aspect of your role, involving negotiations with suppliers for favorable prices, tracking inventory costs, and identifying areas for potential savings. Minimizing waste and spoilage of goods will be essential in this aspect.Other responsibilities may include preparing sales reports and inventory reports, collaborating with other departments to ensure smooth operations, and providing assistance with minor repairs and maintenance of equipment.This position is a Full-time role with benefits such as food provided and Provident Fund. The working schedule may vary between Day shift, Night shift, and Rotational shift. Additionally, there is a yearly bonus offered as part of the compensation package.
