Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Stock Assistant to manage and maintain inventory across multiple locations. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in stock management, ensuring seamless operations between stockrooms and sales floors.
Key Responsibilities:
Receive, inspect, and record incoming merchandise to ensure accuracy and quality.
Maintain an organized stockroom, ensuring products are stored securely and are easily accessible.
Conduct regular stock counts and reconcile discrepancies promptly.
Monitor sales floor inventory levels and replenish stock as needed.
Coordinate inter-location stock transfers to optimize inventory distribution.
Accurately update inventory management systems with stock movements.
Prepare and submit regular inventory reports to management.
Assist sales associates by promptly retrieving requested items from the stockroom.
Participate in store events and promotions by ensuring product availability.
Adhere to company policies regarding stock handling and loss prevention.
Ensure stockrooms meet safety and cleanliness standards.
Qualifications:
Previous experience in stock management or back-of-house operations is preferred.
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
