Job summary

Hong Lam Marine Pte Ltd. is seeking a vessel operator to manage daily operations and uphold safety at sea. The role requires vigilance in following MPA rules and company procedures while ensuring the vessel remains in peak condition.

The successful candidate will liaise with management and clients to minimise downtime, and must have the MPA Helmsman/Steersman (Port Limit) certificate with at least two years of crew boat experience. Singaporean or PR status is required.

Qualifications

• Must hold valid MPA Helmsman/Steersman (Port Limit) Certificate.
• Minimum 2 years of experience operating crew boat.
• Singaporean & PR only eligible.

Responsibilities

• Operate the vessel in accordance with safety guidelines.
• Maintain and upkeep the vessel’s condition.
• Liaise with management and clients to minimise downtime and delays.
• Comply with all MPA and statutory regulations at all times.
• Follow company safety guidelines and procedures.

Job Requirements:

• Possess a valid MPA Helmsman/Steersman (Port Limit) Certificate
• Well organised and punctual
• Minimum 2 years of experience operating crew boat
• Able to work on weekends and public holidays.
• Added advantage if have basic survival skills
