The Singapore Institute of Management Group seeks candidates to teach MGQ 201- Introduction to Statistics for Analytics. The course equips students with statistical literacy, using Excel for data tasks and calculators for probability estimates and decisions.

Candidates should hold a Ph.D. or Master’s in a related field, with 2+ years tertiary teaching preferred and 5 years of related work experience a plus. Daytime weekday teaching is required; Blackboard/D2L familiarity is a plus.

Qualifications

• Ph.D. or Master’s degree in related discipline from a reputable university.
• At least 2 years of teaching experience at the tertiary level preferred.
• 5 years of relevant work experience will be an added advantage.
• Course design and implementation based on UB syllabus and textbook.
• Assessment of students.
• Must be available to teach daytime on weekdays.
• Familiarity with Blackboard/ D2L is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Teach MGQ 201- Introduction to Statistics for Analytics to enrolled students.
• Cover descriptive statistics, probability distributions, CLT, normal distribution applications, sampling, confidence intervals and hypothesis testing.
• In the first part, use Microsoft Excel to compute and convey information; in the second part, use calculators to estimate probabilities and inform decisions.
• Assess students and provide timely feedback.
• Course design and implementation aligned with UB syllabus and textbook.
