Job Description
You will report to Senior Manager, Quality based in Singapore.
Your Responsibilities:
- Functional:
- Create the end-to-end Product/Software quality strategy for the assigned products, NPI, continuation Engineering, customer anomaly management, & Continuous Improvement Projects to successful execution.
- You will Apply technical or professional skills within the context of one's role in providing design input, proposes risk mitigation actions together with product development team ensuring highest quality/robustness design on the Product and Process Quality.
- You will Manage Critical-To-Quality (CTQ's) parameters and contribute ideas for innovation and continuous improvement on an ongoing basis.
- Provide technical support in engineering design/code review, drawing and specification review to guide risk mitigation ensuring product meets the established standards of quality including reliability, usability and performance required.
- You will Apply and advocate the use of quality design methodologies, Quality and APQP tools and techniques (e.g. Design for Six Sigma, Design for Reliability, Failure Mode Effect Analysis) throughout product development to drive robustness in Product and Process Quality.
- Influence and Implement lessons learned in other/new products, respectively new or running projects.
- You will Use reliability engineering principles and tools to develop test setups for Reliability Laboratory testing to support projects requirement. Responsible to design, procure, plan and build and report out reliability testing such as HALT or ORT test.
- Conduct troubleshooting of module or reliability setup if anomaly are observed.
- Perform hands-on product electrical circuit and mechanical failure analysis and able to apply failure analysis procedures to identify the failure location and the causes.
- You will Lead Cause Failure Analysis (RCFA) and ensure corrective and preventive action planning, address true and systemic root cause with several functions/team members to guide resolution.
- You will Ensure quality and manufacturing process readiness before start of mass production to attain a flawless launch.
- You will Manage preventive quality assurance during development and industrialization setup.
- Support audits of products, Quality System Procedures, Operating and work instructions in compliance with ISO 9001 Quality system requirements.
- When standard procedures do not apply, use judgement and draw on experience to interpret information, solve routine problems and recommend approaches.
- Contribute ideas for innovation and continuous improvement on an ongoing basis focusing on activities that add values and increase efficiencies.
- You will Recognize/anticipate barriers to completing assigned work/projects.
The Essentials - You Will Have:
- You have degree in Electrical / electronics Engineering, computer science and computer engineering.
- You have at least 8 years of relevant experience.
