Job summary

Trulyyy is building AI-native engineering products and seeks engineers to design scalable backend services powering large-scale customer-facing applications.

You will own backend architecture across microservices, APIs, and cloud infrastructure, integrating LLMs and AI agents while collaborating with product, data, AI, and infrastructure teams. This role offers mentoring opportunities for Senior/Staff level engineers and a chance to impact production systems used by customers worldwide.

Qualifications

• Experience building production backend systems at scale.
• Strong understanding of distributed systems, microservices, databases, caching, messaging, APIs, and cloud platforms.
• Experience with AI applications and LLM integrations is highly valued.
• Comfortable owning systems end-to-end from design through production operations.
• Strong communication skills and product mindset.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop high-performance backend services powering large-scale customer-facing products.
• Build AI-native applications by integrating LLMs, intelligent workflows, MCP, RAG, or agent-based capabilities into production systems.
• Own backend architecture across microservices, APIs, distributed systems, caching, messaging, and cloud infrastructure.
• Drive engineering excellence around scalability, observability, performance, reliability, and developer productivity.
• Collaborate closely with product, data, AI, and infrastructure engineers to deliver impactful features.
• Contribute to technical design, architecture discussions, and mentoring (Senior / Staff / Principal scope depending on experience).
