Job summary

Micron Technology, Inc. is seeking a Staff/Principal Full-Stack AI Engineer for IPAI, SMAI to lead AI product strategy, architecture, and delivery across Micron’s global fab network.

You will own end-to-end AI solutions from data engineering to edge-to-cloud deployments, collaborating with data scientists, software engineers, robotics teams, and manufacturing leaders to drive automation and intelligent decision-making at scale.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Science, or a related field; equivalent industry experience accepted.
• 8+ years building and shipping production web, software, machine learning, or AI applications end-to-end.
• Track record of delivering solutions in complex cross-functional environments across software, data science, robotics, and manufacturing teams.
• Experience designing and deploying scalable AI applications, APIs, and data-driven solutions in production environments.

Responsibilities

• Design, architect, and build end-to-end AI products, including data ingestion pipelines, feature engineering, model training and inference, APIs, web applications, and observability frameworks.
• Develop responsive front-end applications using React, Angular, or Streamlit, with Python/FastAPI back-end services.
• Architect and maintain scalable layers bridging sensor, robotics, and manufacturing data with dashboards and decision-support systems.
• Design and integrate LLMs and agentic AI frameworks into production workflows for manufacturing and engineering users.
• Containerize AI and robotics services using Docker and deploy via Kubernetes/OpenShift on cloud, on-premises, and edge environments.
• Lead CI/CD, monitoring, drift detection, and AI lifecycle management for production AI applications.
