Job summary

Micron Technology, Inc. is seeking a Staff/Principal Full-Stack AI Engineer to lead AI product strategy, architecture, and delivery across Micron's global manufacturing network.

You will own end-to-end AI solutions spanning data engineering, ML, digital twins, robotics, and edge-to-cloud deployment. You will collaborate with data scientists, software engineers, robotics teams, and manufacturing leaders to turn innovative ideas into scalable, production-grade systems that improve efficiency,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Science, or related field.
• 8+ years building and shipping production web, software, ML, or AI applications end-to-end.
• Experience delivering solutions in cross-functional environments spanning software, data science, robotics, manufacturing, automation, and infra teams.
• Experience designing and deploying scalable AI applications, APIs, and data-driven solutions in production.

Responsibilities

• Design, architect, and build end-to-end AI products, including data ingestion pipelines, feature engineering, model training and inference, APIs, web apps, and observability frameworks.
• Develop responsive front-end apps using React, Angular, or Streamlit, backed by Python/FastAPI services, with strong type-safe development and test coverage practices.
• Architect and maintain scalable application layers bridging sensor, robotics, and manufacturing data with dashboards and decision-support systems.
• Design and integrate LLMs and agentic AI frameworks into production workflows for manufacturing and engineering users.
• Containerize services using Docker and deploy through Kubernetes/OpenShift and cloud-native platforms.
• Lead CI/CD, monitoring, model evaluation, drift detection, and AI lifecycle management for production AI apps.
